We recently supported Interserve (Tilbury Douglas) with the full package groundworks for the construction of the new Discovery Academy in Sheffield. Our scope included all the earthworks, foundations, drainage system, service runs and external hard landscaping including a MUGA pitch.

Shanco was appointed with the critical task of expanding the school's capacity by completing the groundworks for two new modular classrooms. As the contracted groundworks specialist, Shanco tackled this challenge head-on, navigating complex site constraints and intricate infrastructure requirements to ensure a successful outcome.

Hampton Junior Primary School, nestled in a bustling suburban area, envisioned transforming its existing sheltered outdoor seating area into a cutting-edge modular dining room. With the school’s population on the rise, there was a pressing need for expansion. Shanco undertook this challenge to bring this vision to life. This case study delves into the complexities of this transformative project and the meticulous logistics involved.
