Discover how groundworks for a hospital's new modular building achieved a three-week turnaround, revolutionising healthcare infrastructure construction.

St. George's Hospital, located in Tooting, South London, worked with Shanco on a significant expansion project to maintain the hospital's high standard of patient care and accommodate the growing healthcare needs of the region.

Located in Cambridge, Addenbrooke’s is a renowned teaching hospital and research centre in Cambridge. Appointed by ESS Modular, Shanco was responsible for the groundworks for a new modular building designed to support patients with chronic illnesses. The new facility was constructed on the site of a former car park and between two existing buildings in the heart of the hospital’s complex.

As part of the redevelopment of North Manchester General Hospital, a new modular office has been created on-site. ESS Modular appointed Shanco to deliver the groundworks for the building which is located on an existing car park next to the estates department, south of the hospital.

Following successful projects and a strong working relationship with a previous client, Shanco was recommended for the Riverside Medical Centre groundworks by a new project manager arriving at CityBuild.
