Job Description:
As a Non-Working Site Supervisor at Shanco, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our groundworks projects in Bradford. Your role will involve supervising site activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a leadership position that requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Supervision: Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
- – Health & Safety: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members comply with safety regulations and use the necessary PPE.
- – Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work being performed, ensuring it meets the company’s high standards and the client’s expectations.
- – Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the site team, clients, and management, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
- – Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or delays on-site, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- – Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, site conditions, and any incidents or issues that occur.
Qualifications:
- – Minimum of 3 years of experience managing groundworks packages for main contractors.
- – Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- – Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- – Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- – Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- – Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
